This trail can be done as an out and back or part of a loop ride with Hogan Creek Trail or the CDT.

The lower mile or so, the trail is on old road bed. Above that is is good, sometime idyllic, singletrack.

A lot of the ride goes through an old burn area with regenerating forest.

Expect a couple creek crossings where you will get your feet wet during Summer. Route finding can be difficult in the grassier areas.
