This is Mississauga's main trunk of the Etobicoke Creek Trail. It runs parallel to the creek for the entire length. It goes from Garnetwood park on Burnhamthorpe to just past the airport. Most of the trail is gravel with some patches of asphalt. There are several steel bridges that cross the creek. There is a small section which isn't complete and some people may have to carry their bikes across. Mountain bikers will have no issues going over the roots and rocks. Along the trail there are several single tracks that go off into the woods on both sides of the creek.

Access Info

From the north you can access the trail across the Tim Hortons at the corner of Mid-way blvd. and Dixie road. At the south access is from Garnetwood park on Burhamthorpe near the Mississauga eastern border.

This trail is closed when going south before the 401. Hand to take a long detour to get across the 401
