The Europaweg is a hiking trail that runs from Blauherd above Zermatt all the way down to Grächen. The first quarter of this trail (from Blauherd until a bit further than Täschalp) makes for a very fun flow trail with absolutely beautiful views. The rest of the Europaweg is not really rideable anymore since it simply involves way too many sections where you have to carry the bike.

This part of the Europaweg is more technical and, overall, probably the most technical part of the entire Europaweg. There are some really tight switchback corners, some of them are also pretty chunky and quite steep. A few of these switchbacks are also quite exposed. Very good bike handling skills are recommended.

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!
