Originally called Lower Chicken; Combined with Cedar Dust and Bob's Trail, this MTB route down from mid Galbraith was a multi-year effort of poking around in the woods after work with machetes and mattocks by Bob Torset, Tom Aeschliman and others. The Ewok name came from the wooden features that were removed years ago. Lastly, to prevent trail conflicts when descending Ewok, I highly recommend a Timber trail bell as the trail has poor sight lines to see the hikers and trail runners that now climb this trail.
