The trail follows an old service road for the powerline. The road continues over the mountain pass and ends up in Sörlastaðir.

This is the lower part of the route up, divided by a small river. The rivers is no problem crossing but you'll have to get your feet wet.

This is a rather popular horse riding route. The trail has a pretty nice flow and is a mixture of rocky road, and packed dirt.
