This trail is a mix of climbing, rocks and water bars. Go figure. On the picnic area parking end, singletrack quickly gives way to a wide section following the creek. Here water leaches onto the trail, rendering it wet and muddy more than many other spots and for longer periods of time. This then leads to rocks and roots as you pass a Deer Creek Trail connector and then eventually into the fields. On the other end where it meets the Rock Run Trail, there are a couple of water crossings.

Tough trail, but this should be intermediate, not black diamond.
