This 2.5-mile section of the Fay-Luther/Jobs Peak Ranch Trail is only open to hikers. Dogs must be leashed year-round on the first 1.5 miles through private property. A mix of exposed sagebrush, bitterbrush and rabbitbrush, with other sections through Jeffrey pines and some aspen. Two creek crossings with bridges. May be icy in spots during the winter.
