Trail serves as connector for mountain bike riders to get on Banks-Vernonia Trail to link in other options (like Williams Creek Horseshoe trail) or to swing back up on Hares Canyon trail to get back to Hilltop Day Use or all the way back to north access to mountain bike area to do it all again

There's a cool double log stringer bridge over Williams Creek. Good re-group and photo-op location.

Hikers and Equestrian riders frequent this trail for the scenic bridge, but they turn around at the bridge (beyond that point is "mountain biking only" trails).
