Good climb up. Lots of switchbacks, which means not a ton of speed on the downhill. There is one fork near the bottom that is a bit steeper, but it is short. It cuts off a few switchbacks and a high speed section.

The trail is intermediate except that some riders will find it intimidating because it is very skinny in some spots (with drop-offs, of course).

Access Info

If you are coming south through Manti on highway 89, just turn on to E300N, and than head straight, you should pass a dead end sign but just ignore it and keep going on that road until you drive by a okay sized pink house and than go up the trail to the resivior and head straight, and first chance you get turn right and keep going until you run into a fork in the road, take the one on the left and at the very beginning there’s a trail that looks like a highly used game trail. Just follow that and you’ll have a fun time!

Disclaimer

exercise caution on the bridges; the trail is relatively new, so the edges are a bit soft

Trail is great (as good as it ever has been)! It's dry but packed & any spring wash-out seems to have been repaired.

It’s a little hard to keep your speed around the turns but still fun

Its a lot of fun, theuphill gets you working, the downhill is a ton of fun, but you have to brake a lot to make it around the corners cause there aren’t many berms at all, and the few there are aren’t that great, me and my friends have built a pretty fun cut of that takes you down a different ride that has a few drops and jumps, most of the time it’s dry but when it is takes it is a lot more fun, and some corners are great for shreding.

I’ve tried to change that comment, but it won’t let me edit it. Any help is welcome.

There is a video, by the way. For some reason it says that there arn’t any, even though there is one.

What you could try is go to the edit menu on Pinkbike and delete the trail in the trail box and than type it back in and save the changes.

Right now it’s snow packed, but you can still make it up easy if you go when the muds frozen.

It’s condition is great, all the bumps from horses and hikers hiking it in the spring have been mostly smoothed out. And a lot of trail has been added at the top.
