Launched in May 2017 this is a very fun technical section of trail. All rideable by a solid XC rider, but with twists, turns, switchbacks, little up and overs. Kicks out on Rifle Range Road a short distance from the bottom of the Big Money up.

A pretty fun old-skool loop on new trails would be to climb this, then up Rifle Range and down the new Bored to Tears.

Riding good despite all the rain this week. No mud holes that I found. Fun classic technical climb, makes you work on skills that other trails...

Love it, like Fernie classics that made area famous! And not yet another boring machine built trail. Can't wait for when rest is built. But warning, wimps and hackers need not apply.

Killer technical climb! Disgregard naysayers....they are just getting schooled.

Worse than a game trail. Sharp corners, abrupt acents, constantly changes direction for no reason at all. This trail was created for people that enjoy suffering.

       CAUTION!!!
We wanted to ride the trail becuase of all the mixed reviews. We enjoyed the first 500m’s of technical ascent, but then realized how screwed up the layout was. The trail is in a cut block and you constantly see where you need to go, but end up having to descend, and climb back up to where you already were. I am all about technical trails that are challenging, but this trail lacks fun technical features and is replaced by tough corners and twist and turns that are not necessary. The trail is spongy and incomplete, and again...in a CUTBLOCK! If i lived in Fernie i would give a beer to anyone who started building shortcuts to avoid the unnecessary loops. The builder of this trail likely doesn't have any friends, and wanted to prove that they could do a better job than all the new school kids. I wouldn’t be surprised if this trail completely disappears in the next couple years.

Trail built by guy who built most of Fernie's best singletrack, he knows what he's doing. Cutblocks are fact of life, trees grow back. Fernie doesn't have slabs etc, so tough technical comes from tough corners and twists and turns. Parts of trail are 1 week old so soft and spongy. Fine to not like a trail, entirely not fine to advocate its destruction cuz you don't get it.

Mixed feelings on this trail. It’s certainly a working trail and mostly a good ride BUT the sharp corners going straight into a climb were a bit over the top. You have to start the climb with zero momentum which was frustrating for someone like me.
I agree a few shortcuts to skip the unnecessary climbs would be welcomed. Maybe not by all but I bet the majority of people would take a shortcut.
I liked the sharp Switchbacks going down but by the end I was tired of being on my brakes. A little more flow would be good.
Would I ride it again soon? Not likely. But nice to have a working trail to mix in with all the flowy stuff

Awesome technical trail. Challenging climb requiring skills and balance. Makes riders focus on their skill unlike many other trails.

Great trail! People rag on it trying to keep it secret from the tourists. Best trail in the area by far. Worth coming to Fernine just for it.

I’m a beginner climber and still enjoyed sections of this trail, rode it on an enduro and had to walk various parts but wow would I feel accomplished to clean it. Good challenging trail to climb, good views of the ski hill!

Great addition to the trail network, tough with challenging tight corners, really tests your balance on a bigger bike. Thanks to all in Fernie who put in the effort to build it.

To everyone who is bashing the trail on here, if you couldn't figure out what the trail was about by looking at the black diamond rating, climb and descent figures, and that really squiggly black line of a trail, I really don't know what to say to you. What were you expecting?

The trail builders have a sick sense of humour, and that’s what makes FloWrkr so great. It’s a challenging climb and forces you to focus on your technique. Trail gets better after a few rides when you know what’s coming and how to use your power. Go in understanding the name of the trail - there’s no flow - and enjoy the climb. At the top kick over to Contra and have a really fun descent!
