The original vision of this section of the Fromme Ascent was created by Randy Konrad as a low grade ascent/descent for his kids (thus, For the Kids). When Randy bumped into Mark who was out on a scout, it was like the chocolate fell into the peanut butter and voila the Fromme Ascent has a great entry starting at the Dempsey tennis courts. Randy deserves full credit for the build and original vision on this one - thanks to Rocky Mountain Bicycles and the TAP program, the connection to Dempsey was completed in 2015. Efforts must be made to recognize now retired DNV Trail & Habitat Coordinator Graham Knell for his support and permitting of this trail.
