One of many, many trails along the base of Mt. Elden. You'll probably end up on the wrong trail and probably won't find your car on the way back! Good for cross-country riding mostly. Expect hikers and be courteous. You may need their help getting back to your vehicle. (Remember the name of the street you parked at!).

This may be a "blue" trail by Arizona standards, but I'm a competent rider (been riding over a decade) and I'd rate this trail a solid single black diamond (with double black diamonds in sections)—at least the eastern half of the trail (which is what I rode). The trail has zero flow, is super tight and twisty, and several sections demand trials-riding skill (I walked those). Don't get me wrong—it's a great trail and I enjoyed it (even if I walked a third of it), but on a nationwide scale, it's not even remotely "intermediate." So intermediate riders, be warned! :-)

Don’t believe the hype. This trail is in my top three worst trails I’ve ever ridden. It is super tech in a lot of the sections and it’s relentless. One mistake and you have to walk for 5 minutes because there is no place to get back on and get moving. Tons of rocks that are just tall enough to hit your peddles on every peddle stroke and rocks so tight you can’t squeeze you peddle between to ride. In my opinion avid this trail.

 Not a well maintained trail.
It is overgrown and very narrow. You will probably end up hiking a good 3 miles of the trail
