Fox Creek Details
Fox Creek is a short but steep trail that descends from the meadows at the top of the History Rock trail to the intersection with South Cottonwood at the Fox Creek cabin. This full value descent includes fast open meadows, rock and root choked switchbacks, smooth forest floor and everything in between. The only downside to this exciting descent is how quickly it is over. Exit right via South Cottonwood trail or turn left for a longer, more serious adventure.
Accessed from top of history rock trail at the Hyalite/Cottonwood Divide. This is often ridden with the help of a shuttle from the south cottonwood trailhead to the top of the Langohr Rd. Despite the shuttle assist there is still some climbing to reach the top and a few short climbs to exit South Cottonwood.
