This is an extreme bikepacking route that you should take only if you want to make a connection from Lätäseno river area to Raittijärvi ATV track. There is a lot of bike pushing involved, because the terrain is mostly wet and soft. The "route" is marked for snowmobiles, but mountain bikers follow a very primitive track.

The beginning near the Lätäseno river is easy and the track is good, but the bridge over Toriseno river is closed. Yeah, it is not in good condition and I do not advise you to use it, but I used it anyway and it was ok.

Munnikurkkio, an abandoned border guard base, is near the Lätäseno river where the track turns west.

There is a bridge in Ahkajohka (not over it, unfortunately), but it is easy to wade a bit upstream.

Then the track turns to swamp. It is rather easy to follow but difficult to ride. A fatbike would be a good idea here. Push your bike in the swamp and enjoy the mosquitoes.

After crossing Ahkajohka again the terrain gets a bit better, but the track disappears. This GPS route follows some faint reindeer tracks.

The route ends near some huts at Puittisjoki, where a proper ATV track begins.
