 It is absolutely beautiful. But don't do it, it's basically a goat path with unbenched traverses on 35 degree sand slopes and straight uphill hiking on rocky terrain in between. Again, it is beautiful so you will have incredible views of Glacier Peak while you suffer.

 Technically it's closed to bikes but this year it's closed for all users. It's pretty much a 2 hour hike a bike but the first part is somewhat rideable. The descent down basalt ridge is over too fast for the effort
