Land Owner
Gauley Mountain Trail is a gradual, beginner friendly trail that is used mostly as a connector trail for Right Fork Connector Trail, Red Run, Bear Pen Ridge Trail, and Gauley-Tea Creek Connector trails. It gets its intermediate rating for its varying terrain, intermittent rock and root gardens, and remote access. It is 5 miles from Rt.150 to Mine Rd. making it 10 miles out and back. It is also used to design loops including those other trails, most notably Red Run Trail. This trail was once an old railroad grade, however is mostly singletrack now.
