From the fence line on Aspen Vista you will see a nasty chumble of rocks heading straight down the ski run. It looks like there is a trail in there somewhere, and there is, sort of. Head down this and quickly it turns into a chumble without an easily definable trail in it. Stay on this, eventually you will pop out onto a dirt road and descend very rapidly towards the Quad chairlift, brake rotors glowing. From here you can descend the ski area access roads to the ski area base or descend Alamos Vista, a challenging but rewarding singletrack which returns you to the Aspen Vista Parking lot.
