Goat Creek is an amazingly beautiful 10 mi out and back on the border of Mt St Helens National Monument. The trail climbs up a steep valley through old growth forest passing many waterfalls. The trail eventually ends at a junction with Goat Mt trail, from here it is highly recommended to continue up to Vanson peak for amazing views of Mt. Rainier and the upper Cowlitz valley. The descent is fast and flowy with some of the best dirt you could imagine.

Good to go. Great dirt right now and the waterfalls are going off with the recent rain. Bottom is getting a bit brushy but not too bad yet.
