Trail that links from Gold Creek Reservoir the long way around to South Boundary Rd. Lots of steep hills both ways.

Trail is dry. There are many steep, eroded sections strewn with small rocks. Large tree down halfway.

Just a warning to newbies to mountain biking. Don't do what I did, and try to find an unpopular fireroad to get to know your bike. I picked this one. And wondered why I spent most of 3 hours walking my bike up knee-achingly steep hills. Turns out there's bit that ranks the climb difficulty. Now it makes sense. I'd barely be able to do this track with my e-bike!

Yep this one is one of the less enjoyable forest tracks close to Brisbane, the
steep pinches are a bit ridiculous. South Boundary Road is a good option
