Famous Jeeping track that is very difficult for all activity types. Most of the trail is sandstone with multiple successive ledges that are difficult to go up and down. The views out at the edge is spine tingling 1000 foot drop to the valley floor.
Not recommended for mountain bikes crossing Gold Bar Rim. Golden Spike is more strenuous and difficult than the Gold Bar Rim Singletrack.
