The Goldstone Jeep Road 7327 provides access to Goldstone Pass from where the Continental Divide trail going north and south can be accessed. You can also access the upper end of the Park Creek Trail from this road before you reach the summit. This road was built for mining access from Montana to the Goldstone mines on the west side of the divide in Idaho probably before or around 1900. The road has variable grades but is mostly a steady climb, most of which is rideable. You will get a good workout though. The lower end of the road is in dense lodgepole pine forest and the upper end is in whitebark pine forest both of which have been heavily attacked by mountain pine beetles so there may be dead trees fallen across the road early in the season.
To reach the start of this jeep road, you can access it via the Bloody Dick Road #181 or the Big Hole River Road #381, both on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest southwest of Jackson, Montana. The jeep road starts near the divide of the headwaters of both the Big Hole River and Bloody Dick Creek.
