  • Global Ranking

Fairly flowing singletrack with some small drops, rock faces, exposed bedrock and some fun steeps. The start of the trail is not very well marked but if you look closely you will see it. The upper section is more all mountain and starts with some bridges, rock slabs and small jumps with a few short climbs in between. It drops down onto the middle section of the trail about 200m from the mid section trailhead at the 4km switchback, from here it is all downhill. Cross 2 spur roads and take a hard left after the rock bridge down to the main road and the lower section of trail continues 20ft up the road to your left. From here the trail gets moderately steep, tight, and twisty until you hit the cut block where it opens up until the final short pedal back to the parking area. Or skip the hard left after the rock bridge and ride a new piece of trail.

Access Info

Go up the pass creek road to goose creek road, up goose creek road to the end of the asphalt and across the bridge. Park here (or leave shuttle vehicle.) Climb or drive to the switchback at the 4km sign, the lower dh portion of the trail goes off the corner of the switch. For the upper section, continue on the main road for just over a kilometer and take the first left fork. From here you'll need to pedal unless you have a good 4x4 with clearance. Follow this road for about 2km until you reach a wide point in the road and the trailhead branches off to the left. Turn right and traverse the bottom of the cutblock a short distance to the bridge.

We found the access description more complicated then necessary..
Got us a tadl confused Wink
Really the beginning of the upper part is in btw km 6 and 7 and its still on the main road.
(which does fork to the left)
You pass a cut block on the left hand side and right after there's a pull over ( also on the left) and that's where the trail starts.

Wicked trail, best to get an early start or your gonna be drenched in sweat, saw a big black bear, so watch out for wild life and keep on riding!
