This trail is horrible. If ridden from the Gander trail, it will lure you in with easy single track. It drops to the bottom of the wash and then begins a miserable, loose, rocky, steep hike-a-bike up to Grafton. Not worth the effort. This trail needs to be overgrown and we can start again with a blank slate.

Plans are in the works to reroute this trail.

Ridden from Gander, yes it's terrible. But if you park at the top its a pretty wild downhill if you like steep and loose. You can link Gander, North Rim, and then catch the road back to the car.

When ridden downhill from the Grafton side it's loose and steep and it's completely rideable except for a couple tight switchbacks. Going up the Gander side, toward Gooseberry, is fine for a strong rider and 100% rideable.
From Gander toward Grafton the climb is a hike-a-bike, but it's short and no big deal.
A reroute would be nice, but like I said, it's so short.
