Grand Canyon starts off with one of the hardest features in the Round Top trails: a small roll down into a rock garden with a hard downhill right hand turn. The derailleur grading rocks and tire slipping roots make this turn a real challenge. This is followed by more rock, roots, trees, and gravity. Another tight turn, this time to the left, follows with some loose shale covered trail to keep it interesting. This is definitely one section you may want to walk, session, or avoid altogether.

The trail that follows is largely just easy singletrack with a climb back up to Hematoma. The difficulty rating is entirely for this first section. You may want to ride back up these features and continue on a different way once you are done playing.
