Fabulous climbing! A few down trees on the descent but well worth the effort. Road this as a loop with Redfish Creek Trail. Redfish was nothing to write home about but well definitely ride Grand Mogul again.

Overall I would say that this trail is a real piece of shit. I rode this in conjunction with Redfish Creek Trail in a clockwise direction. The climb from Sockeye Campground starts off pleasant enough and then has heinous steep and loose sections that require hiking. Once on the ridge the riding is actually pleasant. From the junction that heads towards Bull Moose Trail the riding gets steep and is a fun downhill; from then on this trail gets really terrible. Downed trees litter the trail along with large rocks and swamped out bogs.
