There is just to much moisture in the ground to use the system if it's not frozen. And more soaking rain is coming.

Best ridden southbound. All downhill except for a turn or two. Really fast and rutted, lots of roots and rocks. This is probably the best trail at Palos for anyone that loves speed and technical downhill, but like all of IL the downhill is very short. There are some nice drops at the end and a nice little jump next to tree on the left side in the middle of the run. Watch out for two sets of pinch rocks that can really catch you out if you try to ride through the middle which is the fastest line. Its a great trail at Palos one you can session over and over.

This trail is listed as bidirectional, but please try to only ride southbound whenever possible.

Nice “downhill” trail for IL. Pretty much a straightaway with a couple turns with berms and small drops. Just beware the trails here are multidirectional. Too bad they can’t have a sign to have this downhill only. Since Covid I feel like you’re pretty lucky if you can ride down it without someone climbing out of it. I’ve had a couple close calls.

Quite awesome when going downhill (Southbound) with a few good jumps. A challenging climb in the opposite direction.
