This is a part of the mineral tramways network and links a number of areas such as Tehidy, Lanner, Poldice etc. It is generally flat, but there are a couple of hills which require a little more effort. Ideal for a workout of family ride and there are more challenging areas nearby for those who wish to explore. It is wet weather friendly, which is also a bonus. The trail is a circular route and takes in many historical mining buildings.

Only one thing to note, the trail is very exposed in many parts. As a result, riding can be tricky on windy days and there is little tree cover to use when it's raining.

Riding clear after all the winds earlier in the week. Wet in places but not a problem.

Very wet in almost constant rain - but that is why I was there and not in the woods! As always, riding fine in the very wet conditions, that is why it is the wet weather back up!

Riding very well today. The council have cut back the hedges so there is good vis and loads more room. Riding well - good fun.

Dry in most places but very wet in a few spots, a couple of very muddy areas - especially near the farms! Watch out for these. Otherwise, riding really well and surprisingly quick today.

Riding well, wet and very muddy in some of the usual spots. That is to be expected after the overnight rain, but the Lode can cope with the rain - that is why we were there. A good few miles on the bike, a second time around would have been better!

A little drier, still muddy in a few spots - especially the farms. A good ride.
