From the south, you'll climb up a farm road. This road is still used for cattle operations, so watch for trucks (and cows). The trail descends at the crest of the hill, then veers to the right down a short, rocky singletrack. At the bottom of the trail you'll find the hardest trail feature in South Boulder, an eroded rocky/water bar staircase down to the community ditch canal and bridge. Many riders can ride this section down, but climbing up is a real challenge, especially the first step up after the bridge!
