The Grey Pine Trail weaves through the foothills at the base of the mountains next to Santa Margarita Lake. It winds through the shade of an oak-studded forest beneath magnificent sandstone rock outcroppings. The trail ends at Eagle View, a rocky point 326 feet above the lake. There are great views in every direction.
