Machine built trail. Non-technical, but some steep grades makes it a challenging climb. This is a piece of the new Guadalupe Perimeter Trail on the South Mountain Trails Master Plan. The trail will stretch from Desert Classic near the Helipad over to the San Gabriel area, adopting many of the unofficial trails in the area into its alignment along the way. Trail posts, stickers, and trail closures of old sections of unsustainable trail are forthcoming.

This is a great addition to the network. The trail is new and still kind of fluffy dirt and a bit loose. Needs some rain.

Amazing Trail! It’s brand new and it’s a flowy, rockless alternative to Goat Trail. Can get up to some pretty great speeds going down.
