This is not a MTB trail. We started it looking for some downhill fun but ended draging our bikes over steps and drops that were only good for hiking.

Yes of course that its trail for hiking but also suitable for MTB because of the cleaning that the boys of MTB community have done it has become great for MTB and in some segments it has great improvements.
But its not a trail for everyone that has just a MTB and absolutely not if they come by without having a helmet or protective gears.

This trail is only 10-15% truly ridable. Kudos to the MTB community for working on this trail, but probably the ruff weather has substantially damaged it. At the current state I would definitely skip it and let the hiker boys do their thing.

      PS: Blue line xd?

Of course that every trail in winter is dangerous and it happens to get damaged by the rains. There are also of those who are advanced in MTB and they have done this trail even during winter.
But be careful next time you enter a trail, make sure to see the trail difficulty rating.
