The trail is divided into two sections with the area West of the parking area and bridge designed to be on the easier side and the area to the East on the harder side exhibiting a much bumpier, winding surface with numerous drop-offs on the lake side of the trail. Enjoy!

Really, the way that these trails are segmented on Trailforks, it should be Harmon Lake South Side. This trail starts at the boat ramp and crosses the dam. It then enters a tight, twisty wooded area that is a blast to ride. It later opens onto prairie, and eventually (at about 5 miles) crosses a metal bridge. After the bridge, it follows the south shore of the lake, offering some great views. At about 6.5 miles in, you reach the turnoff to the left to enter the Epic Loop (which is a great ride) or turn right to continue the Main trail. If you continue the main trail, it soon crosses to the north side of the lake, where the trail is flowy and fun, pretty much following the north shore of the lake, except where it runs up a series of small wooded draws. It ends at the picnic shelter, where you can follow the road back to your vehicle (about a half mile).
