A steep zig and zag up the ridgeline towards the summit of Morrissey Ridge. The trail is easy to follow.

Safety note: You are in bear country, so bear spray is advised.

Access Info

Quite a tough one to find. Head out of Fernie on Coal Creek Road for about 2.5km and then turn left into Rifle Range Road. Head up here for about 2km, and just before a big hairpin that turns to the left as you are heading up (you can see it ahead), you are looking for a right turn spur road that goes up another 1.3km to the trailhead. An SUV is preferable.
