This is probably the best trail in the Umpqua National Forest. It starts with a five mile gravel road climb from Lake in the Woods to Hemlock Lake. From there you climb on trail to the top of the Umpqua divide. The rest of the loop is mostly fast and fun downhill sending you through wildflower glades and next to waterfalls.

If possible, I would recommend shuttling the ride, unless you really like tons of climbing on gravel roads. The actual trail is fun, with the descent being a lot of fun
