The trail starts several hundred yards west of PMEC on the Hammond Brook Trail. After recent logging to clear out diseased hemlocks, much of the trail within Joe English Reserve is skidder/double track, but its a good climb to connect to Betty Arnold Forest, or to bypass the difficult section of Bicentennial within the Reservation. It's a blast coming down.
