The Herberton Range Flow Trail is a multiuse trail that acts as a fire break and connects the top of the Herberton Range to Wondecla Road. It starts off with a hard climb for advanced riders, others will need to walk, but once you get to the high point it is a great fast flowy trail that is great for social rides.
It’s in granite (sandy) country but descent trail surface is a little clayey too and fairly well packed in.

Crazy ascents and descents for first 4 KMs. After that good undulating track. Railway line interesting. Interesting waterfall. Tunnel only 200m and torch not required.

Fun trail but on the decent, there’s more pedalling than descending
