The Hesitation Point trail starts at the Hesitation Point Overlook and ends at the Shelley / Green Valley / North Gate Intersection. This trail along with the North Gate Trail creates the main route through the Northern Section of the Brown County State Park Trail System. While the descent from HP is a blast, please keep in mind that the trail is used by may rider to climb out of the trail system. Most trails at Brown County are 2 way (HP included). Down Hill Riders are responsible to slow down, yield, and stop if needed for climbing riders. This trail was hand built by HMBA volunteers.
