Hesitation Point Trail is an out-and-back trail that ascends from Aynes Loop to the Hesitation Point Overlook. Riders will pass the foundation of a CCC cabin at the base of the climb. A steep climb and technical features like multiple rock gardens, logs, drops, bridges, and tight switchbacks make Hesitation Point a trail for experienced riders.
The challenging climb brings you to the parking area at the overlook. Be sure to snap a few photos here, especially in the fall, before descending down again. Hesitation
Point connects with the Walnut Trail, which begins at this parking area, just on the other side of West Gate Rd.

This is a fun trail that rides along a higher contour. A little bit of everything. Some fast sections, climbs, and some technical sections. A good sampler of types of trails at BCSP.
