This is an extremely technical trail. Could be great to try to session sections of it on a trials bike uphill or down. But on a Mtn. Bike is probably best to plan on hiking up as much as you want to ride back down. Even downhill is very technical, steep, tight and full of tire and pedal snatching rocks. If Portal trail is easy for you and you want something more technical that requires slow speed precision, this could be fun for you. I made a loop from Moab Rim but do not recommend it. The top of Moab Rim Jeep trail to Hidden Valley is not very fun and has a lot of sandy sections, the end of Hidden Valley (at the top) is rideable and solid but since it is primarily a hiking trail it doesn’t have turns unless it is very steep. There is one fun but difficult climb on top but then it starts to go down toward town and is straight and easy through tumbleweeds until the final steep drop that is discussed at the beginning of this my description.
