If you access this network of trails from the town of Catalina and the United Methodist Church on Oracle Road, please respect the Church's wishes and do not park anywhere along their road or on their property. Best options are to park at the now defunct juvenile justice detention center parking lot at approximately milepost 84.9. Lots of room and privacy there. Or you can park at the large shopping center at Golder Ranch Road. Both parking areas have access to controlled intersections so you can cross the busy Oracle Road. Ride from your parking area down the paved church road and look for the new trail signs showing the route south around the church property for access to the Honeybee network. Do not ask to use the church bathrooms, fill up your water at the church, or defecate on their property. We have their approval to access these trails by this route until better alertnatives are developed now that the WAPA road in Rancho Vistoso has been closed.

Access Info

Edwin Road is a good, hassle-free way to access the trails but can be a little too rough for passenger cars without much clearance. Access in the town of Catalina is another way--see description above for parking details. Be sure to purchase a state lands permit to ride these trails.

I've only done the end of Edwin Rd to Edwin Rd (so the upper half or so), and this section is 5 star quality. Very easy, flowly singletrack to start, and then easy pedaling with some fun turns.
