Multi-User 2 WAY TRAIL with bike friendly design. Yield to uphill travel While most bikes ride down it and loop to the top by going left or right at the bottom, it is not a one-way trail and you will encounter bikes, hikers and horses coming uphill. Good sightlines overall so keep aware and leave your earbuds out. When encountering other users, establish communication, determine the best way to yield, and say Howdy.

Rode Hoot this past Monday 2x + Scotts! Good trail, fun and flow is on point. Long enough, berms are on point, jumps totally smooth...good stuff! Nice change from riding Auburn...I'll be back with friends!

The Upper portion of some of the switchbacks are getting washed out. I almost washed out on two of them.
      Use caution.

What’s the trail conditions at the moment? Two weeks ago the dirt was perfect.

The trail is snowed in and not rideable.

The first big switchback is sketchy with the dusty dry conditions right now. The trail is banked before leading into the turn and with the dust on top of the hard pack dirt it's very easy to slide out before you even enter the burm

Fun trail with well developed berms.
The signage on the trails in the area is very poor. Post will indicate there is a trail but no trail names or ratings.

Anyone know how much rain/snow hoot trail got this week? Thinking about a thanksgiving ride if it did not get too much precip or under snow.

What a HOOT. Like the little fiery sibling of Scott's Flat. Reminds me of Flow Trail in the Soquel Demonstration Forest. Definitely send this if you are in the area.

Riding this uphill, or at least expecting downhill traffic to yield to you if you do, is both stupid and inconsiderate, if not dangerous. There are no technical features going up, and you'll hear/see someone coming down long before they see you. Enjoy your ride, but try not to ruin if for others doing the same.

2x coming to Hoot. Trail was in good shape considering we are still in “winter”. I didn’t come across a ton of ruts as with some other trails I’ve ridden lately. Will def come back and bring my girl so she can be kind enough to shuttle me back up for another lap. Lol.
