This non-motorized singletrack trail drops approximately 800 feet in two miles. This trail is a connection between the Haystack-Stormy Lookout trail and the Stormy Peak Road (023). It can be ridden in either direction but is more appropriate for a west to east direction ride for the downhill. This trail is in a mature lodgepole pine forest with heavy pine beetle mortality so you can expect downfall if it hasn't been cleared recently.
The trailheads on either end are not signed.

Access Info

The trail is approximately 13 air line miles northwest of Salmon. See access description for Haystack-Stormy Lookout Trail. Have a copy of the gps track as the trail junctions are not signed or well marked.
