They've just mowed the track so pretty clear. They've also graded some of the drops into the streams too...presumably to get the tractor mower...

Grass has been cut but still lots of fun for a night ride. Steep sections have help up even with all the rain.

definitely one of my top tracks in wellington .. old school steep jeep track come singletrackish .. lost of fun .. very steep but awesome fun .. not technical..
some corners sneak up on you if you are dozing.. bottom section crossing streams is awesome .. all are crossable .. baring one for me (my riding partner smashed through all of them. grade 2-3 at most for all of the ride

Ridden from Baked Beans Bend to up to Horokiwi Road. A great track in generally good condition with quite a few stream crossing as it follows the Korokoro Stream tributary along the valley floor and then a steep climb up to Horokiwi Road. It's a single track for most of the way but well kept and most of the stream crossings are rideable and due to the dry weather little water. It may be an issue after rain. Track info indicates that it is primarily a downhill so I was doing it the other way and I found it unrideable in some sections near the top. Prepare to push. All in all the track is well kept.

A very fun track on the hardtail. Watch your speed at end of long straights. Watch for walkers. Likely to get wet feet at bottom. Better down than up.
