Hard packed moon dust with 1"+ gravel sprinkled all over. Many of the tighter areas of the singletrack seem to be peppered with pool-ball sized rocks. Wide tires running low psi will rip here. If you can keep traction in the climbs they will be easy, if not you might spin out to the point of having to walk. Some of the singletrack ruts are deep and steep so precision is required in order to not pedal-strike, only a couple of these and they are short. IMO riding it counter-clockwise is easier (and more fun) than riding it clockwise.

As of Sunday March 7, still a lot of muddy spots in the shade. I went a mile and hit 6 spots, so bad I quit.

Nice warm up run. Good views of the gorge as well. Not very technical. Hills are short, but enough to give you a little workout. I took my time and took some pics along the way. Took me about 1:30. You are allowed to park outside the gate by the road.

Great loop for bike, hike or run. Just to note, the parking spot on the map is about .7 miles from the start of the single track trail.

Nice trail, the views out along the Gorge are quite spectacular. Fun, the ups and downs and quick corners keep you on the ball. Some of the grades are much steeper than they need to be, bringing any momentum to a crawl, and going down any speed is negated due to tight corners. But over all it’s a real fun ride.
Take this ap with you as there are several unsigned intersections to trails not on any map.
Trail seems to be neglected of maintenance, much if it has drainage issues that will progressively worsen. And it needs a good raking, the tread is full of rubble.
