From the dirt road up to the Monogram, Horton's Loop drops in on the left. It's not well marked, so you just have to look for the trail. It's a very difficult, off-camber, steep descent with tight switchbacks and lots of roots and rocks. Once you get to the bottom, this section of Horton's is an easy, valley bottom section of singletrack. Continuing in this direction, you're faced with a difficult climb with rocks and roots. The trail continues across a ridge and then down the other side with bench cut trail and a couple of switchbacks. Finally, it climbs out of the valley to Five Points up a moderate grade double track.
