Hughes Point Cutoff Details

Trail connecting between the Divide (106) and Hughes Point (650) trails. It allows a loop from Saddle Mountain with these trails and Colter Creek (606).

This trail is not much more than a game trail but it gets better every season. Some trees have blazes and there is old flagging to follow where the tread is not obvious. Bring a GPS or use the Trailforks app to follow this trail at the tricky spots.

This trail isn’t even a goat trail. I walked a through the woods trying to find anything even resembling a traiI couldn’t find it. Plus the marker is on the uphill side of the trail completely out of view as you bike by it. Point being if you are heading out to use this trail to create a loop it won’t work. Save some time and ride northern trails.
