Great trail if you're looking for more single track than JEM can offer. This trail has some fun technical sections, fast downhills, and cows. This trail can be made a loop with JEM by either taking Gould's Rim or riding the road for a bit on Highway 59. Great as an out and back as well. Amazing views of the canyon and surrounding area.

We rode the Hurricane Rim loop from our campsite off of Sheep Bridge Road. (all 24.5 miles). Hurricane Rim follows the edge of the mesa most of the time. It ia a mix of technical and hard pack with punchy, technical climbs (mostly loose rock that is hard to gripe and steep grades) that will test your fitness. Really fun trail, either as an out and back or part of the bigger loop. I would rate the technical as intermediate at the most. I rode everything and I am definitely not an expert rider.

I put it back to blue. It was blue (Intermediate) when originally added. There are some short difficult sections, but you're right, not enough to make the entire trail expert.

I agree. I rode this 12/30/18 and the majority of the trail is blue. There are a couple rock sections that can give some trouble and a couple lung busting climbs.

Great ride. Beast of a climb at the start then nice and flowy the rest of the ride. A few technical spots to keep it interesting but overall a nice blue with awesome views.

Very nice trail full of punchy climbs and some annoyingly loose stone here and there. Worth doing for the views and as part of the 25 mile loop. A solid intermediate trail.

I’m no expert but the climb will definitely test your fitness. Very technical in some areas, huge rocks and pedal strikes happened quite often for me. If JEM was more dry, it would have been a perfect ride. Fun but tough.

This is a nice pedaly XC ride with amazing views of Zion and the Virgin River. It's part of the larger 24-mile Hurricane Rim IMBA Epic that I wrote about here twowheeledwanderer.com/posts/hurricane-rim-loop. Definitely not the best riding in Hurricane, but good if you don't want the crowds on Gooseberry or you've ridden everything else in the area.
