It is the main pathway through Illogan Woods. At the top and bottom there is a short section of tarmac pathway, otherwise it is a woodland path with some stony/rocky sections and a fair bit of mud at times. About half way down there is a stream to cross (actually a small bridge or the overflow channel) and the bottom section almost never dries out. Very near the end there is a very narrow section to get through, it is a concrete structure just wide enough for your handle bars - take it steady There are no notable trail features such as jumps etc (although it might be possible to jump the fore mentioned overflow channel). Basically it is a downhill woodland trail which you can attack as fast as you wish. You can also go up it, both directions are sections on Strava.

A fun ride in either direction. Links nicely with Tehidy woods and the coast to coast mineral tramway.

Wet today and there is a large tree down about a third from the top. Always a nice ride though!

All clear today. It was a little wet, but the bottom section was much drier than I was expecting. Rode up today, but it was a good climb.

Drier than expected. Quite a bit of rocks etc washed down in the rain of late. Watch out for the pipes through the narrow bit at the end!

A lot wetter than last week and the debris washed down make traction tricky up hill.

A quick ride up on Sunday. Quite wet in places, but generally fine. All clear too.

Very wet with more trees down, but the trail is clear. I was puffing a little here today, but still got a good time - quite surprised!

Still very wet and plenty of trees down with the middle sections cut out to allow you to pass. The riding was still ok, not too slippy. Enjoyed it.

Very dry in there today, legs were not happy by this time - but it is always a nice place to ride.

Clear and working well, too dam hot for the up hill slog at the end of a ride! Damp in the normal places.
