Newer trail, loose, soft soil and loose rocks in places. Tight switchbacks for the first part of the trail. Steep downhill slope. Don't fall! ???? Eventually. The trail meets up with an old logging/fire road which you can take as far as you like before turning around (or do the loop!). Road is actually fun to ride down, with enough of a grade to keep things interesting.
