This is the main access trail to the Ash Canyon Trail network. The climb up isn't technical but is deceptively steep, the decent can be ripping fast. There is good line of sight for the majority of the trail although it gets a bit constrained just below the junction of Vicee Rim. Because this trail used by most people for accessing the upper Ash Canyon trails, it sees a lot of traffic, including hikers and dogs, downhill riders should yield to uphill traffic and please stay on the trail.
